You Get What You Focus On…

So Focus On What You Want!

If you find your life always giving you what you don’t want, take a moment to consider where you are putting your attention. What do you focus on regularly? You may notice it’s all the things you don’t want in your life.

Make A List Of Wants

The first step to changing this habit is to make a list of all the things in life you do want.  In NLP we call these well-formed outcomes. Focus on what you want or how you want to be in your life.  For example: rather than thinking “I don’t want to be this or I don’t want this to happen.” change your thoughts to “I want to be this or I want this to happen.” Put your energy or focus on all the good things you want out of life.

Now To Make It Happen

Ask yourself the questions:  How many ways can I make my life better? What can I start doing right now to start living the life I want?

Your life is too important to waste all your time on focusing on what you don’t want….start today to focus on what you do want.
